Garden Carpentry

Garden Carpentry have used Travis Perkins Enhanced Grip decking with Gripsure non-slip infills to replace slippery stair treads on a redesign of a client’s garden access. Following a nasty fall down the previous steps. The new dog legged staircase design provides a much safer way to access the North facing sheltered garden at the rear of the property.

The steps are a generous 11" wide and have 6" drops making very easy walking. The previously steep steps have been broken up with a landing halfway down the stairs. For additional safety and to eliminate the risk of future slips, each decking board benefits from two non-slip inserts that provided a great slip resistance for safe use all year round come rain or shine.
