Truss’s Island is a small riverside park on the west bank of the River Thames accessible via two pubic footbridges. The island is 100-metres-long with pathways leading to a picnic area and fishing platforms for anglers. The Island is a great place to see geese, swans and many other wildfowl.

Gripsure Ecodek® AT was used to replace decking on one of the platforms to ensure safe access all year. The slipway is used by visitors of all ages and abilities all year round for feeding the birds and fishing making visitor accessibility a key focus. With the deck being right by the waters edge a durable non-slip solution was required. With a 25-year ecodek® warranty and low potential for slip Gripsure Ecodek® AT was a perfect choice for safe use all year round in wet and dry conditions.
