Sales Office Executive

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who can support merchant sales and new business development.

Salary: £18,000 per annum (plus commission)

Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, you will work in a sales team who pride themselves in delivering outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will assist the sales office with quotes, follow up, and after-sales service to new and existing customers. An ability to communicate at all levels is essential, along with excellent customer service/telephone skills. Personal integrity and resilience, along with a strong work ethic are expected attributes for this role. You will be outgoing, results orientated and able to work on your own initiative.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Sales:

  • Handle incoming customer telephone enquiries
  • Sending quotes and entering information into the CRM
  • Sending samples to potential customers
  • Follow up customer quotes and build order pipeline
  • Telesales support into merchant branches
  • Telesales support for new business development
  • Post-delivery telephone survey
  • Prospecting previous customers

Administration:

  • To compile weekly reports
  • To ensure customer databases are updated monthly
  • To ensure sample stocks are full and to the required quality
  • To complete any sales analysis as required
  • File delivery photos

Required Personal skills and qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Sales experience
  • Well organised and self-motivated
  • Some technical understanding Effective communicator, on phone and in writing
  • Can build effective relationships
  • Assertive and able to influence
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Self- starter demonstrating initiative and problem-solving capabilities

Desirable:

  • Business studies degree

Export Sales & Marketing Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated, international business development specialist, a French and German speaker, with the drive to develop our business through hard work and determination.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 basic per annum, plus <£15,000 OTE

Job Description

You will work in a small, highly responsive team, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

We are looking for candidates with a background in construction related markets and products. An ability to communicate at all levels is essential, along with the drive and determination to establish a new product into the specification market. Excellent telephone sales skills and a clear understanding of the sales process are essential. Personal integrity and resilience, along with a strong work ethic are expected attributes for this role. You will be outgoing, results orientated and able to work on your own initiative. With excellent time management and planning skills, you will work to deliver the export sales and marketing plan.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • To grow Gripsure sales in Europe through architect specifications.
  • To implement the sales and marketing plan.
  • Telesales to approach architects and specifiers
  • Territory visits to architects, contractors, merchants and end users
  • Quoting and follow up of web site quote requests; maintain CRM
  • Email marketing campaigns, social media coordination, exhibitions, leaflets
  • Follow project through from architect to contractor and ultimately purchase.
  • Identify key construction projects for Gripsure product range, using desk research.
