“The standard is excellent – it does what it says on the tin,” says David, who moved to Cornwall from Shropshire nine years ago. “The sun is on that side of the bungalow first thing and then it moves round and goes over the other side in the evening. I’m planning to install some more decking out at the front to create another seating area. Hopefully, it will be completed some time in October.”
Local builder and carpenter Mal Carter of Carter Carpentry and Construction fitted David’s Gripsure decking. Like all Gripsure timber decking, the boards are crafted from FSC and PEFC certified timber, making it a sustainable and environmentally friendly choice.
The process to remove the existing wooden decking and replace it with Gripsure Premier took just over a week and was finished just in time for the spring and summer weather. David said he was pleased with the whole process and would recommend Gripsure to other homeowners. “It might seem a bit more expensive than other choices but the quality you get is really excellent,” he said. “It’s certainly worth it.”
