Slip Testing
Setting the Bar High as a Standard
Gripsure non-slip decking has been independently tested using the pendulum test (the operation and calibration of which are described in BS7976:2002 parts 1 and 3) operated to the United Kingdom Slip Resistance Group (UKSRG).
All Gripsure anti-slip deck boards exceed both the wet and dry non-slip standards as set out by UK Slip Resistance Guidelines. A value of 65 out of 100 is required for any non-slip surface to be classed as having an ‘extremely low risk of slipping’, of which all Gripsure anti-slip decking comfortably achieves.
